On the 1st day of Christmas...

We celebrated Christmas with Matt's family last night! The boys had so much fun! They got so many toys and squeeled and laughed. They loved it! There aren't many pictures of Jonathan, because he was too busy opening gifts to smile or even face the camera! Merry Christmas!! Can't wait to continue to celebrate!

Ho Ho Ho!

We went to see Santa this past week and it went better than last year! Matt was afraid that I was getting my hopes up and I would get disappointed. Not so much! Neither of the boys would sit with Santa, but they did let us all get our picture and Jonathan even told him what he wanted (although too quietly!). Henry, the train.

November

I have decided; however well intended, it is too difficult to blog on a regular basis with two small children in the house. Having said that, these are the highlights from November!

Ethan 0-1

It is so amazing how fast time seem to go by when you have children. It sounds so silly, but it does. I can't believe that my little baby is now 1 year old. He is about 21 lbs and taller than he once was. He is walking all over the place and very proud to do so. He says Dadda, all day and loves to follow Jonathan and play with his toys. He eats just about anything that wont eat him first, except peas, spaghetti o's and chocolate cake. Weird, considering I will eat everything chocolate. He has had a couple of colds and one ear infection (which we are still taking antibiotics for now). He is happy all day and has the best smile! He still only has the two bottom teeth (since 9 months) and the top four have been working their way out for months. Still waiting and chewing on everything! He had a wonderful birthday party yesterday with lots of friends and family. He loved the Georgia football theme and Georgia even won the game!! Go dawgs!! We can't wait to see what this next year will bring!! Happy birthday little man!! We love you:)

the end of August

Someone was really curious about what the big boys were doing outside!
We were at the park and Jonathan was facinated with this butterfly and followed it all over these bushes! Both of the boys love to swing! Jonathan goes into a trance and looks like he could fall asleep. Ethan gets a look on his face like he going to vomit any second, but laughs the entire time!

Highkacked!

Our birdhouse in the backyard has been highjacked by a little frog. Sometimes you can just see him sitting on the edge just looking around and making his little frog sounds. Who has ever heard of a frog in a birdhouse?

First steps!

Here is Ethan takeing a few steps. Just before I made this video he had taken about 4 steps. What a big day yesterday!!

He stands alone!

Gramme was visiting and Ethan decided that it was time to stand alone! What a big boy! He just stands there and laughs and then sits down...too cute!

All together...

This weekend we had to go to Tennessee to Matt's Grandaddy's funeral. It was really difficult, but we were able to get together as a family all at once. IT is sad that the only time people do that is for funerals and weddings. We were crazy busy with the kids all weekend. We took the boys to this wonderful park on Saturday morning.
Ethan chowed down on green beans and Grandaddy's tomatoes.
Everyone was there!
All the kids played really well and had tons of fun!
They were so sweet when they weren't screaming and chasing each other!!
This toy was the hit of the day!

This is everyone together!
