Finally...

I started this blog a few months after Jonathan was born. Believe it or not, he is now 15 months old and I am just now getting to it. I am hoping that this will allow family and friends to keep up with what is going on and feel involved. I am not sure that it will be funny or even entertaining, but the pictures will be cute and I hope that you enjoy:)

Jonathan is now 15 months old. He weighs about 22 lbs. and has 6 teeth. His hair is so blonde that he looks bald. He does have hair though and we had our first haircut on Saturday. He cried at first, but he is shy and I don't think he cared for the squirts of water to get his hair wet. He looks like a little boy and not a baby anymore. I am sure that others thought this for a while, but as a mother, it took me until Saturday to notice. It must have been the haircut.

For those that don't know, we are expecting our second little boy in October. The due date is the 17th, but after carrying Jonathan 40.3 weeks, I am not focusing on a date for my own sanity:) We haven't finalized on a name, but we are working on it. I will post the only US picture I have from almost 10 weeks ago soon. I am sure he doesn't look like the picture anymore, but we will see soon enough.

Well, I am off to eat some double chocolate brownie ice cream. I might have a huge bowl, since my glucose test is tomorrow and I want to enjoy as much sweets and ice cream as possible, just as a procaution. If the test is positive, I may require therapy!! Say a little prayer.
